July Rider of the Month
Mary Varnavides
Mary has been with Greystone Stables for a few years now. She started taking lessons, and progressed rapidly. She has just begun leasing "Threes a Charm" from Robin Hanak. She is showing this season in the short stirrup division. Mary also is involved in the Greystone Gallopers 4H club, where she learns the ins and outs of horsemanship. In addition to all this Mary is a junior counsler at GSS 1/2 day Summer camp. She really enjoys helping Jerry out teaching the younger kids the basics, such as; grooming, tacking up, and getting them on. She attends Mount Carmel School in Middletown NY and will be entering the sixth grade this Fall.
