            MICHELLE WATTS
BARN MANAGER, INSTRUCTOR
Michelle has spent most of her life around horses. Her mother managed Fox Meadow Farm, so her young adolescent years were spent helping her mother with the barn duties. This gave her a great understanding of what was necessary for managing a farm.
Her riding career started at the age of 11. Riding with many local trainers, such as Annette Mohr, Billy Barr and Rita Ussher . She purchased her first horse, Morning Mist, at the age of 13. "Misty' as she was know was only 3 and Michelle trained her and competed with her at numerous horse shows.
Her show career included many prestigous shows, such as the Connecticut PHA and HITS. Since she lived on the farm, she had many opportunities to work with all level of horses and riders.
Although, Michelle stopped her riding to raise a family, the passion for horses was still in her blood and she returned to them. Her daughter, Courtney, shares her passion and has pursued riding as her sport.
Michelle currently resides at the farm with her two children.

BRITTANY BORDEN
   INSTRUCTOR
Brittany was raised around horses as her family has a standard bred race horse business. She was taught from an early age the value of the animal and the compassion necessary to exceed in this industry.
She started riding at Greystone Stables almost 13 years ago  and has loved being around the animals as long as she can remember. She broadened her experiences as a junior and worked with Bonnie Lass for many years acquiring many useful skills but ultimately returned to Greystone in her teen years as she felt this was the place she belonged.
Brittany has worked with all types of horses, including green horses, on the ground and under saddle. She is fortunate enough to own her own horse, Rubix, which she bought as a youngster. She also enjoys working with children, not only teaching them how to ride but the care that goes with it. This love of children has made her pursue a profession where she can continue to work with children. She is currently attending college for elementary education.
